TWO clones. The faller slides straight down off the tile, shrinking, and goes behind the bar; the riser is born at the Collection column below the screen, at the size the faller left at, climbs behind the footer on a slight arc, clears it and drops in — shrinking only on the way in. They are never on screen together: the riser's timeline waits on the fall. The lateral MOVE between columns is the gap between the two clones, not an animation, which is why the faller can never bend. A curve has no more room under the footer than an arc does, so a path variant dives on exactly the same rule.
